Hubris. Malice. Jealousy. Who can say what the initial impetus was to meddle with the reflecting pool. A coat of brightest blue was laid over the marble to modernize, freshen-up, revitalize! In doing so, the reflection was lost. Some of the magic was taken away.
The pool didn’t like this. It rebelled. First, by inviting in all manner of tiny creatures that had previously been unable to play in the pool. They frolicked and danced and caused the surface to become a most unsightly green.
And then, bit by bit, the pool began to shed its coat. Piece after piece began to slough off into the water. It was slow. It was tedious. But the pool was patient. It was marble after all: sturdy, steadfast and ageless. Able to outlast almost anything…

This 7-Piece Dice Set has a marbleized base with layer of peeling blue paint and a floating layer of green plant matter. It tells the story of The Reflecting Pool and comes with a Washington Monument dice rest.
