This 7 piece dice set was donated by my LGS, Nerdfeeder. Please check them out if you are in the Vancouver BC area! The Sapphire Grove dice set was crafted from a precious wood formerly reserved only for emperors. In the Ming dynasty there was a style of wood known as nanmu. Prized for its luster and resistance to decay, it was so valuable that only the royal families could afford their use. The Phoebe zhennan tree was one such source of nanmu, and this wood is set into these hand-crafted die. Only 675 Sapphire Grove sets were produced, and each one of these Limited Edition sets includes a certificate of authenticity. This set is #290/675.
