Two skeins of handspun heavy DK/light worsted weight yarn totaling 310 yards. There is an additional skein of 28 yards of DK weight yarn made from the excess after plying.
This yarn is made from two braids of 100% Shaniko wool fiber from Moss and Fern Fiber Studio. This fiber was part of a fundraiser the dyer did to raise money for Immigrant rights and for aid in Minnesota. The colors "Melt ICE" and "Steam" felt like the perfect combo for this anti-ICE fundraiser. It should be noted that as this is handspun, there will be some inconsistencies with the thickness of the yarn. The weight listed is the average.
Included with the yarn is a small notions box filled with useful items like stitch markers, needle toppers, and tail minders. There is also a single use packet of wool wash to clean your project when done. All you need is a needle or hook and you are set to start crafting!
